HEM: Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model?
I am working mother of 7… i have 3 girls and i want them to know that you can do anything and become anything you want… who would if thought at my age i can become a model.
HEM: Why are you interested in this career?
It looks like a fun career but in reality it is quite tough… i love a challenge and i would like to inspire other women like me to come out their shell and shine.
HEM: Tell us about your education: Have you attended fashion modeling courses?
I am a qualified PA and am currently studying marketing however In school i did a modeling and grooming course as my mother thought I was too much of a tom boy and thought i would be more lady like…. a funny but true story My grand aunt in an attempt to help used to make walk in a straight line with books on my head … now i sit and laugh but am grateful because i am now graceful when i walk.
HEM: What related courses or studies have you taken?
I haven’t done any beauty or fashion related courses but wouldn’t mind learning about makeup and the various applications etc… the transformation from one look to another really amazes me.
HEM: Why would you think you’re fit to be a model?
I am often told that i look good for my age and sometimes am mistaken as my children’s older sibling so while i still can why not.
HEM: What are your goals as a model?
I would like to make a name for myself as a mature fashion and run way model… maybe one day be on the catwalk at fashion week in New York who knows anything is possible.
HEM: How do you see yourself progress in this field?
With a lot of hard work and commitment i am sure i will be able to make name for myself
HEM: What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising psychology and photography.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… the way you portray yourself or product says a lot … people mostly buy with their eyes and an appealing image will always get attention.
HEM: How do you communicate with people?
I get on well with people.. i am quiet and prefer to listen and just be that person people feel comfortable to talk to
HEM: Are you patient?
I am very patient i am not pushy i feel that everything has a time and a place … good things come to those who wait.
HEM: Are you friendly?
Because i am quite reserved i come across as snobbish or stand offish.. but once you get to know me its a different story.
HEM: How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I am quite open but i feel that boundaries need to be set so that everyone knows where they stand. I believe that there should be transparency in everything one does.
HEM: Do you eat nutritiously?
I try to eat less red meat and more white… i love my vegetables …however i do have a really sweet tooth and l I like to indulge myself from time to time.
HEM: How often do you exercise or go to the gym?
I don’t really have time to go the gym but i do exercises at home when i have time.
HEM: What do you hope to accomplish at our modeling agency?
I would like to see more mature models in the industry.
HEM: Do you have any limitations?
Yes i do have limitations as i am sure all models do.
HEM: Would you model any kind of clothing at all?
I prefer the classical sophisticated look however i am open to new designs and looks but with in reason that is.
HEM: State your availability: would you travel?
I am available… however i do work on a schedule due to family and life commitments and therefore would require some notice prior to any modeling job that becomes available.
HEM: Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
As i work full time as a sales executive so for the time being modeling is a part time gig for me unless things change in my favor.
